What we do with your data?

We really only use your email and contact information to send you an occasional Newsletter and invite you to join a service design training or event we run for the general public from time to time.

You can find all the boring stuff that nobody reads below.


General conditions of use

The General Terms and Conditions describe, determine and regulate the use of the contents and services of the servis8.com website (hereinafter: the website). The website is owned and operated by Servis 8. We reserve the right to change any part of the website and delete any part of the content, without prior notice.


Site users

A user is any person who visits a site and uses it in any way. The website can be used by an indefinite number of users that accept our services in accordance with these conditions.



Without the prior written permission of the provider, the content may not be reproduced, modified, transcribed, republished and disseminatet.


Use of content

All published content is used by users at their own risk. The service provider will do his best ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all content but is not responsible for it.


Website accessibility

We reserve the right to suspend access to the Website for technical maintenance reasons and equipment replacements. We do not guarantee access to the site in the event of any outages in networks or any outages, faults, other technical disturbances or interruptions.


Terms of business

We reserve the right to demand any service offered on the Site from we reject any reasons. We also reserve the right not to respond to any the message we receive through the website.



The websites, other than Ljubljana Jams and SD/UX Drinks, to which the website points with links are not under our control and therefore we do not carry responsibility for the information contained on the linked websites.


Protection of personal data

Servis 8 collects and processes certain personal data about visitors to its website and certain information about people who subscribe to our e-news or leave their contacts information when downloading any of our manuals or similar content.

We use Google Analytics to collect information about which pages you visit on our website, how often, how long you stay there, and the like. Based on this data we can see how many visitors visit our website, which parts of the website they are most interested and whether they have any problems visiting.

From users who subscribe to our newsletter, we collect information about their email address and data on name and surname.

We also collect data on users who read our Newsletters and, if they click on them and visit our website, which visits they make on it. Data on website visitors are anonymized immediately after capture and are then stored only in aggregate form, other than remarketing data, which Google retains until you request termination of their collection, at https://adssettings.google.com/u/0/authenticated.

Email information contacts are kept until they unsubscribe from the email list, after which they are deleted within 1 month.

The user has the right to request in writing to unsubscribe from notifications to his e-mail at any time or you can unsubscribe by clicking on the appropriate link in each individual e-news.

We do not provide all the above data to external users. As for the performance of the analytics and remarketing, we process with the help of Google (Google Analytics and AdWords), which in certain cases, it may constitute a transfer of personal data to a controller from the United States. Such a transfer is permissible under a special decision of the European Commission called the Shield privacy policy, which found that US companies committing to respect the principles of this shield ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data. Individuals are reminded that, in accordance with the General Regulation, they have certain rights (to access their own data, until the correction of any incorrect data, etc.). These rights can be exercised in writing requests addressed to our contact address above. In case you are not happy with our response, have the option of appealing to the competent supervisory authority or requesting judicial protection.

In conclusion, we state that Servis 8 institute handles your personal data responsibly and completely in accordance with established marketing practices.
